Lot-Art is a free, public platform for searching auction’s Lots worldwide from a single place: its mission is to make worldwide auctioning easier and faster or in a word, more efficient. The advantage for you is the opportunity to receive a comprehensive overview of worldwide auction sales till a month ahead browsing from a single portal, so you can search through them all at once avoiding lengthy multiple searches on different sites.
Lot-Art provides advanced listing and searching services, offering direct links to the most reputable auction houses and bidding platforms, providing detailed info about each lot, along with a link to the original website where you can be directed to finalize your bid.
We created an efficient auctions' browsing tool where art collectors & dealers can find the most comprehensive, up to date list of worldwide auction sales to easily browse through Live, Sold and Aftersale lots from a single portal.
Through Lot-Art you can easily create personal Saved Searches, a list of artist’s names or just preferred keywords you will be able to search altogether with just a click of the mouse saving precious time. Saved Searches can be easily retrieved under the My Saved Searches section on the left of the Home page. You can also save preferred lots under My Wish List, so you will never forget to bid before the auction date.
Lot-Art also allows users to contact the auction house to request more information about a lot, such as high resolution pictures or a detailed condition report, which are key tools to optimize the bidding decision of the buyer. In addition, through its Sold section, Lot Art provides users with historical price information recorded during the last three months, a useful information to estimate the current value of an art work.
Lot-Art does not provide a bidding service but it facilitates this process: in order to bid on a featured lot you will just have to click on the “bid on” button on the lower right of a lot’s description page and you will be redirected to the original website of the Lot (an auction house or bidding platform), where you will sign in to finalize your bid.
Another breaking innovation of Lot-Art is the AFTERSALE section: Lot-Art gives you the opportunity to effectively search through thousands of unsold lots and to get in touch with the auction house in case you are interested in negotiating a purchase.
If you are an auction house or bidding platform and you like your catalogues to be listed free of charge on Lot-Art, please contact us to indicate your wish.
