7,000 Years of Art History at TEFAF : from Antique Sculptures to Robot Paintings

Thu Mar 12 2020

TEFAF Maastricht continues to be a pillar of the art market, providing a vital destination for collectors to explore the diversity of 7,000 years of art history.

The 33rd edition of TEFAF Maastricht welcomed around 10,000 international visitors over Early Access Day (5 March) and Preview Day (6 March), with attendance continuing well over the weekend. Exhibitors achieved sales across all sections, with works of art going to both private and institutional collectors.

The Fine Art Fair provides collectors and art investors with the opportunity to acquire some of the finest works available on the market. Alongside the traditional areas of Old Master paintings and classical antiquities, the visitor can also indulge in works of modern and contemporary art, photography, jewelry, 20th-century design and works on paper.

TEFAF closed earlier this year on March 11th, if you didn't have the chance to visit it, Lot-Art selected for you some among the most captivating artworks presented at this 2020 edition, along with the opportunity to review the sale price of similar artworks which were sold lately at auction in both the USA and Europe:
