Rock Crystal Casket By Hermann Bohm

The beveled rock crystal panels are engraved with foliate scrolls and star motives surrounding applied cloisonné enamel trailing flowers. The lid with a plain panel, reveals the enamel painted interior of Apollo and the Muses against a striking turquoise blue ground. The base is also enameled with the same turquoise ground. Fine 18th-century gold and enamel snuff box

Oval lid, sides, and base handled with a trellis of Paillons enclosing simulated pearls within interlace orders all on a translucent blue enamel ground within opaque white band orders the interior of the lid with the commemoratives glazed plaited hair panel applied with the initials CF charge and discharge marks of JF Kalendrin. Gold and Enamel Snuff Box Hanau

A superb gold and enamel snuff box. The lid features an oval enamel plaque, painted with the classical mythological subject within a gold frame with enameled leaves. The ground of translucent orange enamel over engine turning, an extremely rare colour framed by borders of alternating white beads and interlaced green enamel. The sides and base are similarly decorated with rope twist borders. French prestige marks including crowned F mark. The rim with Hanau 18 carat shell mark further struck three times with initials GP in an oval. Dimensions: 7.8cm x 5.7cm x4cm. Circa 1785. See Price Estimate...

Important 1/4 Repeater Diamond Ring Watch

An extraordinary, half pearl and diamond-set quarter repeating ring watch with visible diamond-set balance - with original box Case: 18k pink gold, rectangular-shaped case with cut corners, the bezel set with half pearls, diamonds and gold pearls, slide for repeating mechanism, push back with apertures for winding and hand-set, reeded shank with triangular-shaped half pearl-set shoulders. Dial: enamel, eccentric dial with Arabic numerals, signed, blued Breguet hands. Upper part with a polished disc with four curved diamond-set arms illustrating a visible balance. This is one of five known quarter repeating ring watches. Achard & Fils Achard & Fils was a watch manufacturer based in Geneva. The company was founded in 1796 by George Achard under the name Achard & Cie. Later the company changed its name to Achard & Fils. Achard & Fils was well known for its enamelled watches.
