Frans Francken II (Antwerp 1581 - 1642) and Andries Daniels or Danielsz (Antwerp (?) About 1580 - after 1640) Adoration of the shepherds within a garland of flowers Oil on panel 55,5 x 47,5 cm   For its remarkable quality and feedback, the artwork is a new piece of the collaboration between Frans Francken II and his fellow countryman Andries Danielsz. In this panel the hands of the two painters can be clearly seen: The adoration of the magi, the artwork of Frans Francken the Younger, should be compared with the copper of the RKD archive (https://rkd.nl/en/explore/images/272344 ); while the garland finds punctual confirmation both in the arrangement of the flowers and in their production technique with the works 79, 80 and 69 published from page 254 to page 257 of the volume “Les peintres flamande de fleurs au XVIIe siecle”, edited by Marie-Louise Hairs.
