Chinese Jadeite Archer's Ring Salt Cellar, 19th Century
A Chinese lavender jadeite archer's ring dating from the 19th century mounted into a silver salt cellar. The base is stamped "Silver" on the bottom, and the foot features a band of floral motifs.
Dimensions: 2 1/8 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 5.4 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970. Lots 79-90 from our March 14, 2019 auction were from the same collection.
