Picasso complied with this request of his friend, printer and engraver, Crommelynck, selecting 66 of the works in Suite 347 for the edition that appeared alongside the French translation by Pierre Heugas (Paris: L Atelier Crommelynck, 1971). It was a small format, 17.5 x 21.7 cm, in an edition of only 400 copies. This engraving belongs to this Edition can be accompanied by a letter explaining the origin and colophon of the book.
