Dr. Julie Jančárková (Prague) points to the proximity of the drawing to works by Maljvasin made in the 1920s and 1930s in the collection of the museum Náchod in Czechia. She sees a connection between the origin and the provenance of the drawing in the context of the artist’s repeated sojourns in Prague.
