Copy after Anthonis van Dyck (1599-1641), Anna van Thielen with her daughter Anna Maria Rombouts (original around 1631/32), oil on canvas, 1887, signed and dated 'Ernst Weber. Fec. 87' as well as means 'Copi. n. Van Dyck. Munich. Old Pinacoteca, ca. 110 x 90 cm, with heavy stucco frame approx. 154 x 124 cm.
In the lower part of the picture, a slightly shortened copy based on the well-known Flemish painting, which is still in the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen - Alte Pinakothek München (inventory number 599). The illustration was created by placing a dark wooden panel at the bottom of the picture by approx. 12 cm visually 'extended', giving the framed painting approximately the format of the original.
