Darstellung eines älteren sinnierenden Herren im Pelzmantel, feine Pinselführung und gekonnte Behandlung des Lichts, Öl auf Eichenholzplatte, Mitte 19. Jh., rückseitig auf Etikett wohl Künstlerannotation mit Nummerierung und Geburtsjahr "Nro 8. von Knooch 1776" sowie Annotationen zum Portraitierten "A. Werner Braunschweig D. 26 Januar 1840", auf dem Holz nochmalige Künstlerannotation "Knoch" sowie unleserliche Datierung, Retuschen, gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 17x 22 cm.

Depiction of an elderly gentleman in a fur coat, fine brushwork and skilful treatment of the light, oil on oak panel, mid 19th century, on label on the reverse probably artist's annotation with numbering and year of birth "Nro 8. von Knooch 1776" as well as annotations to the portrait subject "A. Werner Braunschweig D. 26 January 1840", on the wood another artist's annotation "Knoch" as well as illegible dating, retouched, framed, folded dimensions approx. 17x 22 cm.
