(Bayer-AG) to his godson, hand-wound, gilt movement, piston lever escapement with swan-neck fine adjustment, case 585 red gold, hallmarked, monogrammed AW, intermediate cover metal, gilt, watch chain 585 red gold, hallmarked, white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, small second at 6 o'clock, blued hands, dust cover engraved 'Alexander Wolff zur Confirmation 18. March 1908 by his godfather Friedrich Bayer' (Friedrich Bayer jun. (1851-1922), son of company founder Friedrich Bayer, the second head of Elberfelder Farbenfabriken Friedrich Bayer & Co, today's Bayer AG), further date engraving 24.3.1946 on the case lid, case and movement no. 17647, diameter 49 mm, weight approx. 104.3 g, weight chain approx. 32,8 g, function tested, working, condition very good, glass replaced, plastic, with original box and certificate
