Circa late 18th & early 19th c., most of these images are meticulously hand colored and all are nicely matted and framed with museum notations on the reverse, titles include: " Long Road Leading to the Brick Tower"; "View of the Conflagration of the House of the Lord's Commons...1834"; "Sapeurs Pompiers (image of an early French firefighter)"; "Trait d' Humanite"; "Ruins of the Long Armory Tower of London,1841";"Destruction of Both Houses of Parliament by Fire, October 16th, 1834"; "The Great Fire at Newcastle on the Gateshead"; "Brennende Sladt"; "The Horrors of Crianolind, Destruction of Human Life"; "Vua Des 40 Jours D' lncendie Des Habitations De La Plaine Du Che Francais1791" (this is the largest of all the images in this lot and is French depicting a dramatic fire in a French seaport city). Sizes range from 17 1/2" x 15" to 38" x 30". Generally very good condition.
