Eleven (11) assorted sterling silver items, including Whiting, Mauser, and English George III. 1st-8th items: Eight (8) Whiting sterling pieces, including one (1) Egyptian pattern soup ladle ( 13" L), stamped with maker's mark to underside of bowl and Sterling, patent status, and retailer's mark "M. Mendelman" to handle; and one (1) 5 3/4" Poppy pattern sweetmeat bowl and six (6) 3 3/4" Poppy pattern nut bowls with repousse foliate rims, monogrammed J to well, stamped with maker's mark, Sterling, size, and pattern number to undersides. 9th-10th items: Pair of Mauser sterling repousse Art Nouveau nut or bonbon dishes with female bust to well and foliate scrolled walls. Stamped with maker's mark, Sterling, 925/1000 Fine, and pattern number to underside. 1 5/8" H x 3 5/8" dia. 11th item: English George III sterling soup ladle with tipt end. Stamped for William Eley I, William Fearn & William Chawner II, Sterling, London, George III, and date mark for 1809. 12 3/8" L. Combined weight: 21.36 total troy ounces.
CONDITION: All items with minute scattered surface wear. Whiting ladle with minor pitting to bowl. One small Whiting ashtray with minor dent to rim.
