Set of eleven (11) Guerin Limoges plates designed by Mary Bacon Jones (1879-1924), "Jungle Folk" series, each with a different scene and motto. The plate designs incorporate animals and words from Kipling's beloved book. Circa 1905-1910. 10 3/4" diameter. Included plates: "Darzee's Chant", "Red Dog", Mowgli's Brothers", "The Spring Running", "The Miracle of Purun Bhagat", "The Undertakers", "The White Seal", "The King's Ankus", "Toomai of the Elephants", "Kaa's Hunting", and "Letting in the Jungle".
