A nice unique necklace of Tahitian Keshi pearls, selected for their special shapes and shimmering peacock aubergine overtones, and finished with a solid invisible clasp. The exotic Tahitian pearl is grown for around 2 years in the black-lipped Pinctada maxima oyster from the warm saltwater lagoons of French Polynesia. The pearls are graduated in size between 11x13mm diameter, have an excellent sharp lustre with light growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace. The necklace is strung by hand with knots between each pearl for safety and is completed with a secure invisible clasp. One end pearl receives a fine quality screw and the other end pearl a bolt mechanism. The clasp easily functions by pushing one pearl against the other and gently twisting it counter clockwise to unlock, and clockwise to lock.
