Origin: Indian
Date/Period: 15st century
Silver Purity: Red copper
Size:6.8 cm high

Additional Info:The Auspicious Goddess is the goddess of happiness and wealth of Brahmanism-Hinduism. When the world was created, she stood on a lotus and drifted with the water, so she was also called Podma (meaning lotus); one said she was a goddess and an asura suckling. The third treasure that emerged in the sea, holding a lotus, sitting on the big lotus, is extremely beautiful, the gods and Asura have disputes for possessing her, so she has the title of "Daughter of the Sea of Milk". She can change her image and accompany Vishnu when she descends: when Vishnu is transformed into Rama holding an axe, she is Dalani; when Vishnu is transformed into Rama, she is Sita; when Vishnu is transformed into Kakuten, she is Lugmini. Some people think she is the mother of Eros. Her images are mostly plump beauties with a kind smile on her face. The mounts are white owls and gold-winged birds.
