Comprising nine etchings of Apostles from the (The Little Apostles or The Martyrdom of the Apostles) circa 1632, by French artist Jacques Callot (1592-1635). All first state impressions, on laid paper, each approximately 70 x 45 mm (2.8 inches by 1.75 inches). Including the Apostles James the Greater, Thomas, James the Less, Barnabus, Thaddeus, Simon, Philip, Andrew, and Matthew. Professionally mounted individually in attractive custom mats, otherwise unframed. Together with two additional etchings by Callot from the New Testament, circa 1635, on laid paper, comprising; Christ Preaching to the Crowd from a Boat, and The Sermon of the Mound, each approximately 75 x 85 mm (2.75 inches x 3.25 inches) unframed.
