Half-titles, a few gatherings only partially opened (Half-title to vol.I chipped at the upper margin, stitching a little weak). Original cloth, blocked in blind, spines also lettered in gilt (some soiling [see images], extremities lightly bumped). Provenance: A. Bernal (Holmleigh, Cheetham Hill, inscription in each volume).
