Chinese. Polychrome ceramic horned figure of Kuixing, God of Examinations, holding a brush and ink pot while standing on the head of fish. Apparently unmarked but having an old paper label. Approx. h. 8.5".
Condition Report: Examined under blacklight. Overall restoration to raised hand and foot on fish, with glue residue. Loss to one horn. Scattered over paint. Glazing / firing imperfections.
