[ translate ]

**Originally Listed At $500**

North America, USA, ca. late 18th to early 19th century CE. A gorgeous Federal period, Chippendale mahogany mirror with a painted gilt frame and its original glass aged to a fantastic surface. The wooden sides of the mirror are carved into elegant, intricate scrolls and flames that form a handsome border around the large, rectangular mirror. Visitors to Colonial Williamsburg will likely have seen a mirror of this style, as it was popular amongst wealthier colonists and early Americans. Size: 17.25" W x 31.2" H (43.8 cm x 79.2 cm)

Provenance: private Long Island, New York, USA collection

All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
