Late 18th or early 19th century French hand carved oak wedding armoire from the Arles region of Provence, having a molded cornice above a carved foliate frieze and raised and molded doors relief carved with flowers above windings centering medallions containing dove trophies surrounded by flowers, the center support and stiles carved with sunflowers and holly leaves, the doors opening to three interior shelves, all above a shaped apron carved with a sunflower and laurel garlands, the whole rising on dainty cabriole legs ending in scroll feet, 87.5"h x 62"w x 26"d.
