Odometer Reading: TBA
MoT Expiry: TBA

*The 17th TA Midget built
*Driven in the 1936 Continental Tour of Europe
*Restored in early 2000s

This pre-production TA Midget was given to William Brunell and his daughter Kitty to take part in the 1936 Continental rally which was organized by the MG Car Club. William Brunell was the first Englishman to win the Monte Carlo Rally (1926) and Kitty the only woman to win the RAC Rally of Britain, in 1933. The car's history goes cold until 1958 when a continuation logbook was issued in Trowbridge, Wiltshire and its history is documented, it staying in the Southampton/Winchester area. By 1970 it was near Brands Hatch, stripped and awaiting a restoration that never fully materialised. It was bought by the vendor in 1999 and restored in the early 2000s and is said to be in excellent condition throughout, the green over green colours adding a patriotic motor sport theme.

Restored in the early 2000s this very early and consequently significant TA Midget should please not only pre-war MG enthusiasts but anyone after an attractive, usable sports car with an interesting past.
