Pair of Rookwood pottery bookends, USA. Dated 1949. Shape 2275. Design by William P. McDonald, who worked for Rookwood from 1882 until 1904. Features the glazed form of a rook in shades of brown. Backside reads "In appreciation of faithful service - Ohio National Life."
Measures approximately 5.25 inches x 5.25 inches x 3.25 inches
Each bookend weighs approximately 2.9 lbs.
