This 1953 Riley RME 1.5 litre is described by the vendor as a very good useable classic that has benefited from some recent renovation. This includes a full respray, recovered seating in piped faux leather, new carpet, 5 new tyres, and all the interior wood trim refurbished. The car is said to drive very well, to start on the button, and to have good oil pressure. After standing unused for a lengthy period (2 weeks+), the engine benefits from tickling the pump-lever at the carburettor for a few seconds, after which it will fire-up effortlessly.

The car comes with a quantity of historic documents, including a number of MoTs from the 60s to 80s. Also present is a new 100-page A5 instruction manual, original instruction manual (has some fire damage), and encapsulated A2 (24” x 16”) full wiring diagram with colour coding.
