No reserve

Carte grise française
Châssis n° 1746310
Moteur n° 1746310

- Demanding preparation
- More than €80,000 of invoices

This 203 convertible was purchased in 2014 by its current owner at Rétromobile, with plans to participate in the famous Beijing-Paris rally. It was with this perspective that the car was fully restored and equipped, while respecting the origin as much as possible by the company Techni-tacot. Due to health problems, the car never took part in the Pékin-Paris rally. The total quantum of work amounted to almost 80,000 €, a comprehensive folder details the various works done, justifying the choices made (https://www.techni-tacot.com/archives/cabriolet-peugeot-203-2/). The body was stripped and the original welding and reinforcements strengthened. The mechanicals, based on a 7CV 403 block changed to 8CV, was the subject of much attention, improving torque and reliability. The running gear has been restored as per origin, the electric harness redone and made more reliable, and an alternator has been adapted. The dashboard has been supplemented with gauges for oil pressure and water temperature, as well as navigation instruments. A removable roll hoop has been created and the car will be delivered with its specific tools and equipment. This careful preparation will allow either an easy return to the original configuration, or to take part immediately in the most demanding historic rallies.
