COLLECTION PLACEE SOUS LE SIGNE DE L'ETOILE

Carte grise française
Châssis n° 11102312052679
Moteur n° 127.984-12-002001

- Beautiful restoration
- Pleasant cabriolet version
- Modern injection
- No reserve

It is to Paul Bracq that enthusiasts owe the modern and successful design of Mercedes W111 cars. This design will influence the creations of the brand with a star for several decades.
This 220 SE cabriolet was registered for the first time on 26 November 1963 and an old registration document indicates that it was registered in Belgium at the end of the 1980s. When the car was purchased in 2015, it benefited from a new paint in the original "Arabian grey" colour, a treatment of hollow bodies as well as substructures. The red upholstery and the hood have also been refurbished. The engine was serviced, with the fuel tank, exhaust and fuel pump replaced. The brakes were updated and the 4-speed automatic transmission checked. It has since done a modest thousand kilometres and will need to have a usage check carried out. The Vredestein tyres dated from 2006 have little tear and wear.
An accessory Becker Europa car radio completes the beautiful dashboard. An appraisal report dating from 2019 details the satisfactory condition of the vehicle. Reliable and elegant, the 220 SE is also very pleasant to use, especially in its convertible version. This well-restored example will allow its new owner to experience the joys provided by this generation of automobiles.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FRENCH TECHNICAL INSPECTION IS SUBJECT TO A COUNTER VISIT FOR CORROSION ON THE REAR CROSSBAR.
