More than 70 000 € restoration
Superb “Outlaws” condition
Powerful, reliable and great to drive

Chassis number: 213130
French registration papers

Iconic and can be considered as the first of a line that has ensured the success and financial strength of the Porsche brand, the 356 is the base on which is built the legend of the brand, made of genius and passion. The initial design of Ferdinand and Ferry Porsche was good. A Four-cylinder air cooled rear engine, streamlined body, quality manufacturing, this recipe has evolved over the years, to the point that we find on the 911 today some of the ingredients that have shaped the personality of the first Porsche.
The model that we present is a 356 B responding to the second series receiving the name T6. They are essentially recognizable by their front bonnet, which gives up the rounded shape for a noticeably more square, their ventilation grille that appears between the wipers in front of the windshield (except for the Roadster) and the filler of the tank on the right front fender, no longer forcing the owner to open the front bonnet every time refilling was necessary! The rear window and bonnets are enlarged (on the coupe only), receiving 2 ventilation grids instead of one.
Arrived from the United States in October 2011, the car was sent to Atelier Arès in Grigny. Its owner uses it occasionally, but its goal was to restore it completely.
Demanding, the car is fully stripped to bare metal and every corroded piece is replaced. The platform, the wings, the side rails but also the upholstery, the wiring, the brakes, the exhaust... if the car presented very well at the time of the purchase, the work done is meticulous and neat. The alignments are perfect, the result is superb! In total, it took 5 years and a little over 70 000 € (on invoices) to overcome this exceptional restoration.
With its «Outlaws» restoration in matgrey, the look is irresistible and its engine (a 356 SC No. 810290) rebuilt in 2015 at Novo Garage in Marolles en Hurepoix (91630) leaves no doubt about the expectation of the beast! Considering the amounts of money required to achieve this level of perfection during a restoration, this 356 BT6 Outlaws will be delivered to its new owner with all the invoices, a blank technical inspection and a record of more than 950 photos retracing each step of its restoration.
