Details: I believe this a sheared mink cape, but could be chinchilla. The hand work is magnificent combining weaved fur; organza flowers, and fur pelts. The same combination is replicated in the over the shoulder attached shawl scarf which is embellished with a mink and silk organza rose. closure is by way of several snaps.This cape is reminiscent of something that would have been worn in the Victorian times and is both an elegant and warm. There are a couple of repairs where some of the weaving has come apart and there is a yet to be repaired patch at the top, near the round collar and a small one further down, which you can see in one of the pictures. Repair method would most probably take the form of gluing a patch on the underside of the cape. The lining of the cape is equally attractive . Price takes repairs into consideration and I have marked the condition as good.
