La Fiat Dino Spider, dans sa version 2.4L, se distinguait en de nombreux points de celle équipée du 2L. Tout d'abord, la 2.4L était fabriquée chez Ferrari, sur des lignes de production parallèles à la Daytona, tandis que la 2L était assemblée chez Fiat, à Turin. Techniquement, le 2.4L gagnait un bloc moteur en fonte, héritait de roues arrière indépendantes et d'un système de freinage amélioré. Seuls 420 exemplaires furent assemblés, et l'on peut réellement considérer que son plumage n'a d'égal que son ramage, tant la beauté de la ligne trouve écho dans la sonorité enchanteresse du V6.
Immatriculé le 7 juillet 1971, cet exemplaire a été acheté par son précédent propriétaire en Italie, en 2013. Une restauration complète venait d'être menée, à l'exception de la mécanique. Celle-ci fut alors confiée à JL Préhaubert, spécialiste des mécaniques Ferrari, pour une réfection complète. Depuis, la voiture a parcouru près de 20 000 km. La carrosserie est saine et habillée d'une classique laque rouge, tandis que l'intérieur a été refait en cuir noir. La capote est en bon état. Le Dinoplex a été conservé mais remplacé par un système d'allumage MDS PN6425. Le chant du V6 est magnifié par l'adaptation de trois petits filtres à air, tandis que l'élément d'origine sera livré avec la voiture. Un réservoir en aluminium a été installé dans le même temps qu'un coupe circuit et un antivol qui coupe l'allumage. Ce beau Spider est accompagné d'un manuel d'utilisation en français, d'un double des clés et de nombreuses documentations techniques. Il est prêt à prendre la route et à gratifier son futur propriétaire de ses montées en régime grisantes.

First registered on 7 July 1971, this model was purchased by its previous owner in Italy in 2013. A full restoration had just been carried out, with the exception of the engine. This was therefore entrusted to JL Préhaubert, a Ferrari engine specialist, for a complete rebuild. Since then, the car has covered nearly 20,000 km. The bodywork is sound and finished in a classic red, while the interior has been refurbished in black leather. The hood is in good condition. The Dinoplex ignition has been kept, but has been replaced by an MDS PN6425 system. The sound of the V6 has been amplified with the fitment of three small air filters, but the original filter will also be supplied. An aluminium fuel tank was fitted at the same time as a circuit-breaker and ignition cut-out anti-theft device. This attractive Spider comes with a French owner's manual, two sets of keys and numerous technical documents. It is ready to take to the road and delight its new owner as it zings up the rev range.
