Le certificat Jaguar Heritage de cet exemplaire nous enseigne que ce roadster V12 est sorti d'usine le 5 avril 1972. Il disposait de l'enviable boîte de vitesses manuelle, et retenait une teinte sable pour la carrosserie et beige pour l'intérieur. C'est l'agent canadien British Motor Holdings qui la vendit le 28 avril 1972. Immatriculée en août 1973 à Toronto dans l'Ontario, elle y passera l'essentiel de sa vie, changeant de mains en 1982, en 2007, puis en 2011 avant d'être importée en France en 2014. Elle affiche aujourd'hui d'une sobre teinte rouge burgundy et n'a visiblement que peu roulé depuis sa remise en état, les soubassements étant en parfait état, bien protégés et propres. La peinture est de bonne qualité et les chromes ont un bel éclat. La sellerie en cuir a été restaurée et est très belle, tout comme la capote noire. Un autoradio cassette et une triple prise allume cigare complètent les équipements d'origine. Les pneumatiques Vredestein Sprint Classic sont peu usés. L'imposant capot dévoile le noble V12 dans un environnement propre et sa mise en route confirme la première impression : ralenti stable et régulier, pression d'huile correcte. Le feulement du V12 est ici accompagné par une ligne d'échappement en inox. L'embrayage est progressif et le freinage satisfaisant. Avec un peu plus de 54000 miles au compteur, ce roadster est une véritable invitation à prendre la route, à changer de rapport juste pour le plaisir, même si bien souvent, l'important couple ne le rend pas nécessaire. Son état et sa combinaison de couleurs la rendent tout simplement irrésistible.

The Jaguar Heritage certificate of this car tells us that this V12 roadster left the factory on April 5, 1972. It had the desirable manual gearbox and featured a sand colored bodywork and beige interior. It was sold by the Canadian agent British Motor Holdings on April 28, 1972. Registered in August 1973 in Toronto, Ontario, the car spent most of its life there, changing hands in 1982, in 2007, then in 2011 before being imported into France in 2014. Today, it has a sober burgundy red hue and has obviously been driven very sparingly since its restoration, the underbody is in perfect condition, well protected and clean. The paint is of a good quality and the chrome has a nice shine. The leather upholstery has been restored and is very beautiful, as is the black hood. A cassette radio and a triple cigarette lighter socket complete the original equipment. The Vredestein Sprint Classic tires are hardly worn. The imposing bonnet reveals the beautiful V12 in a clean state, and when it is started up, the car confirms the first impression: stable and smooth idle, correct oil pressure. The roar of the V12 is amplified by a stainless-steel exhaust line. The clutch is progressive, and the braking is satisfactory. With just over 54,000 miles on the clock, this roadster is a real invitation to hit the road, to change gears just for the fun of it, even if the high torque doesn't make it necessary. Its condition and color combination make it simply irresistible.
