A good quality large Sterling silver wine bottle coaster in good condition.
The coaster has a Georgian baluster edge design with a turned mahogany base, which is backed with green baize. The Sterling silver is hallmarked London 1974, with the maker's mark for Cornelius Joshua Vander. It was founded in 1886 and closed 2007.
There is a very small mark to the silver, but this does not detract from the attractive look of the coaster.
