La Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina est aujourd'hui la plus recherchée des 308 de série : seuls 712 exemplaires furent produits avec la carrosserie en fibre de verre permettant un gain de poids non négligeable, et équipés du moteur 3L, 4 arbres à cames en tête, à carter sec, directement dérivé de la compétition. L'exemplaire proposé est vendu, comme son carnet de garantie et d'entretien le confirme, le 28 mai 1976 à son premier propriétaire, le Dottore T. par l'agent Ferrari de Trieste. Ce très bel exemplaire est entré depuis plus de 10 ans dans la collection de Raymond Jeannot, membre du Club Ferrari. Son entretien est réalisé de manière régulière par Ferrari à Cannes. La dernière révision complète date de mai 2019, avec entre autres, remplacement de tous les fluides, des courroies de distribution et des accessoires, des silent blocs amortisseurs, pour un montant de 6872 € (facture disponible). Son intérieur est en cuir noir, refait à la demande de Raymond Jeannot. Les moquettes d'origine, en bon état, ont de leur côté, été conservées. Son compteur affiche un peu plus de 49 000 km, ce qui semble être son kilométrage d'origine, compte tenu du bel état général de cette belle 308 Vetroresina. En dehors de la 308 GTB Groupe IV Michelotto, la " polyester " est de loin la plus performante de cette lignée. Son poids plume de 1050kg (contre 1300kg pour une carrosserie acier) et ses 255 ch. lui confèrent des performances exceptionnelles pour l'époque. La 308 est à l'origine d'une lignée légendaire dessinée par Leonardo Fioravanti, dont la cellule habitacle restera la même pour la mythique F40.

The Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina is today the most sought-after production 308, with only 712 cars built. They had fibreglass bodywork allowing a considerable weight saving and were fitted with the 3-litre quad overhead cam engine with a dry sump, directly derived from competition.
The model we are offering was sold, as its warranty and service books confirm, on 28 May 1976 to its first owner, Dottore T., by the Ferrari dealer in Trieste. Raymond Jeannot, member of the Ferrari Club, bought this very fine example more than ten years ago. It has been regularly maintained by Ferrari in Cannes. The last full service was in May 2019, when all the fluids were changed, together with the timing belts and accessories, shock absorber silent blocs, for a total of 6872 € (bill available). The interior, in black leather, was refurbished at Jeannot's request, while the original carpets, in good condition, have been kept. The odometer shows just over 49,000km, which would appear to be original, given the fine overall condition of this attractive 308 Vetroresina. Apart from the 308 GTB Group IV Michelotto, this polyester model is by far the fastest in the series. Weighing just 1050kg (vs.1300kg for a steel body), its 255bhp give it exceptional performance for its time. The 308 marked the start of a legendary series of cars styled by Leonardo Fioravanti, with the same passenger cell used in the mythical F40.
