1980 Russian Moscow Olympic Memorabilia Book & Commemorative Flatware Set. In 1980, the United States led a boycott of the Summer Olympic Games in Moscow to protest the late 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. In total, 65 nations refused to participate in the games, whereas 80 countries sent athletes to compete. This is a lot of 1) 1980 Olympic Memorabilia Book with bronze medal medallion center. Book depicts arts and life of Russian culture. There is aging on the front and back pages of the book (see pics). It is a hard back front open cover for the book. 2) This is a place setting for 6 commemorative silver-plate flatware set in box with Olympic plaque inside the box. (could benefit from polishing) no pieces missing or damage. The combined weight is 11 lbs. Please refer to all photos. Overall in good condition.
