1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione "Verde York"
Chassis No. ZLA831AB000576621
Unveiled at the 1991 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione, quickly known as the “Evo,” represented the final evolution of Lancia's rally homologation Delta. Built from late 1991 into 1992, it followed the HF Integrale 16v's 1991 World Rally Championship success, where Lancia secured both Drivers' and Manufacturers' titles. Although the factory formally withdrew from works rallying at the end of 1991, the Evoluzione continued competition through the Martini-backed Jolly Club team, debuting at the 1992 Rallye Monte-Carlo and securing a sixth consecutive Constructors' title, cementing its homologation significance.
Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 16-valve engine producing 210 CV, it featured a revised exhaust system and extensive chassis upgrades including strengthened steering, improved cooling, revised suspension geometry, larger Brembo brakes, and widened tracks with flared bodywork. Distinctive exterior revisions and 15-inch Speedline wheels completed a more aggressive, function-led design.
The example presented here is one of the 470 examples finished in the distinctive Verde York livery, complemented by a Beige perforated leather cabin with contrasting green detailing on the Recaro seats. Optionally equipped with Bosch six-way anti-lock brakes air conditioning to maintain its restrained, competition focused character.
With many Integrales modified over the years, finding an Evo in original factory specification has become increasingly uncommon. When it received its Certificate of Identity from the Lancia Club in 2012, they note that “the car presents itself, as of today, entirely preserved.” Showing just over 107,000 km at cataloging and accompanied by its original books, manufacture literature, and Lancia Club Certificate of Identification, this unmodified Verde York example represents one of Lancia's most accomplished rally bred homologation specials, retaining strong appeal among collectors of period competition derived performance cars.
