This little motor car is as happy in front of a large stately home as it is in a terrace of modest town houses. Everyone has mostly fond memories of the marque and it might surely be called a National Treasure. This very fine example, labelled as a British Open Classic, is aimed at the sporting fraternity no doubt, but will be equally at home anywhere. Offered in a fresh coat of British Racing Green applied in September this year, when a new rear sub frame and both new sill panel assemblies were fitted, together with refurbished rear arms. The engine came out for the respray and a new clutch was fitted plus various electrical and mechanical items. A new exhaust system was installed and the original Minilite wheels refurbished. The interior is very smart with beige cloth and part leather seats, original beige carpet and original headlining with a full length Webasto electric sunroof. The 1275cc engine, coupled to a 5 speed manual gearbox, is described as excellent and the vendor, who has owned the mini for nine years, has produced evidence of the mileage of 49,765 with MOT test certificates, service records and a letter from a previous owner. The Mini appears standard in specification apart from after- market interior door handles. A V5C registration certificate is offered with the motor car, invoices for some of the restoration work plus the said letter from a previous owner. Altogether a Mini to be proud of and enjoy
