1994 HONDA RC45 RVF750

[ translate ]

Emblematic model
Only 21,185km recorded
Scrupulously maintained

Frame N° 2000610
French registration

Introduced in 1982, the Honda RC30 was showing its age. The heavy weight of heritage attached to this famed machine meant that Honda's design department had its work cut out to develop a worthy replacement, in the form of the RC45. With its menacing hunkered-down looks and two round headlamps, the RC45 was cut from the same cloth as its predecessor. The frame had a single swinging arm and the cutting-edge power unit was an all-new high-performance 90° V4 of 749cc, fuel-injected and developing 120bhp - or up to 150bhp in Superbike format. To look after cooling there were two radiators and an oil cooler.
The Honda RC45 was capable of nearly 260km/h (160mph) in its roadgoing version and rather more in race form - because like the RC30, the Honda RC was a true racer that could receive all the necessary modifications to succeed on the track, notably in the Superbike series and in endurance racing.
The Honda RC45 offered here has been owned by a genuine enthusiast for the past ten years. A Honda loyalist, he has owned more than a dozen emblematic examples of the Japanese marque and most notably this particular double-injected RC45. Perfectly maintained by a meticulous owner and with only 21,185km (13,164 miles) on the clock, this is a racebred machine that is primed and ready to go.
