This is a very smart example of the excellent W124 E-Class 2 door Coupe. The vendor tells us that it drives superbly, and makes an ideal usable classic. He is sadly selling all his cars, so this has to go as well. It has had much work done over the years which is sadly undocumented. As a result there is no rust that can be seen, even underneath. New front wings have been fitted, and there is evidence of other well done repairs, that have been well under sealed, and all 5 wheels have been refurbished.
The car has also benefited from much mechanical work on the suspension and engine, and recently had new rear springs fitted. It passed the recent MoT with no advisories. Internally, the leather interior is in very good condition and it is generally very clean, with one or two very minor interior trim issues. Also the car has been given a recent electrical overhaul, which means everything works well, including the sunroof, the door mirrors and the butlers arms that hand over the seat belts. The central locking does work but like many of these cars can be temperamental. It also benefits from a new stereo and a new electric aerial.
The paint is an outstanding metallic, Tourmaline Green and is generally very good, but perhaps not show standard. Overall the car drives very well indeed, very smooth and quiet, and has recently been 100% reliable on a couple of longer journeys.
