French, 19th century. Empire style mahogany center table with glass top, having starburst veneered top, ormolu mounts, raised on tapered legs with beading with an 'X' form stretcher having a gilt bronze urn finial and terminating on paw feet, apparently unmarked.
Provenance: The Collection of Diana McCluskey, Tampa, FL; acquired from Prime Auction Gallery, Pasadena, CA, October 30, 2018, Lot 66U.
Approximate dimensions: h. 28.25", diam. 30".
Condition: Structurally stable, no apparent chips or cracks to glass, pleasing oxidation to bronze, bent and repair areas of trim, one bent foot, and scattered surface wear including scratches, scuffs, and dents.
