French, second half 19th century. Louis XV style inlaid kidney shaped diminutive writing desk, with floral and fleur-di-lis pattern inlay, ormolu mounts, center drawer with leather writing surface, and raised on tapered legs with sabots, apparently unmarked.

Condition: Overall restoration, scattered small chips to veneer, scattered dullness to finish, newer mounts, dryness and flaking to leather on writing surfaces, stable dryness cracks, and scattered surface wear commensurate with age and use including scratches, scuffs, and dents.
