19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE KOREAN EARTHENWARE JAR

ovoid form with a tapered neck, with organic brush strokes of burnt orange against a dark ash ground, atop a wooden base; height without base: 43 cm (16 7/8 in.), height with stand: 48 cm (18 7/8 in.)

CONDITION
The pair appears in age-appropriate condition. Visible imperfection to the bodies, covers and finials of each. Surface soiling visible to the white finials and rims. Overall surface dust and grime visible to the naked eye. Visible flaking resulting in loss to one of the covers. Inspection under UV light shows retouching to one of the finials.
