19c netsuke KABUTO SAMURAI HELMET

Rather unusual late 18th to early 19th century bronze suigaraake (ashtray) netsuke in a form of kabuto - samurai military helmet. Very well designed piece, good detailing, functional netsuke shape, himotoshi is formed by one of the loops by the bottom. Nice old piece with pleasant patina on metal. Length 3/4 inches.
