A beautifully preserved woven basket, featuring an interlacing lower body, a wave-like widened shoulder, and a narrow rim and mouth with a braided motif. The skill of the weaving is remarkable! Bamboo weaving, known as "takeami" has been a traditional Japanese art for centuries. Size: 8" W x 8" H (20.3 cm x 20.3 cm)
