West Africa, probably Nigeria or Benin, ca. 19th century CE. A collection of three strands of heavy, cast iron beads, each strand holding roughly sixty of the beads, held together on a modern string. Beautiful decorative items from the past, made in a region renowned for its iron, bronze, and brass metalwork! Length of each strand: 27" L (68.6 cm)
