Condition: Fair; wood stock is commensurate w/ age & use; chips in stock around buttplate @ cracks around each lockplate; barrels & steel components have lost most of original finish w/ some spots of blue peaking through; metal has scattered rusting & pitting around the percussion lock; bores have darkened w/ age; ramrod has been repaired; screw replaced on right hammer
Includes: engraving throughout lockplates, hammers, & steel components w/ bird game scenes; multiple Birmingham proofs on underside of barrels crown / crossed pikes / B P C; 11; crown / crossed pikes / V; S / 4-leaf clover; crown / cursive BP; castle; top of barrel rib marked Moore & Harris London Laminated Steel (very faded);
