Western Asia, Persia (Iran), ca. 19th century CE. A lovely 92% silver bottle with a low, flaring foot, a spherical body decorated with ornate floral repousse, and a long, tapering spout that ends in a tiny tip punctured by five tiny perforations, creating a sprinkler vessel, probably meant for incense. Spirals of repousse geometric motifs wrap around the spout. Size: 3.5" W x 10.25" H (8.9 cm x 26 cm); silver is 92%; total weight: 251.7 grams
