American School, circa 1810, antique early 19th century sailor's folk art watercolor and pencil drawing / painting. Depicts a clipper ship under full sail with American flag to aft. Hand painted on back of a letter. Bottom reads "The sea was bright and the bark rode well." Good condition with mild surface wear, toning to paper, bleed through from ink. Wear to frame.
