19th Century Naga Head Hunter Warriors Sea Shell Beaded Necklace. The shell decorated in incised circular patterns with black incised circles in the center of each incision on the shell; approximately a 30 inch long strand of yellow, white, and blue padre glass trade beads and 2 hand-cut larger black glass trade beads terminate the piece at the collar. Red 'David Howard Tribal Art' sticker, '948A' catalogue number, Circa 1890. Similar examples can be found in "The Nagas" by Julian Jacobs; pages 326, 330 and 331. Condition: Patina to the shell and beads.
