French Rococo Revival walnut marble top vanity, late 19th century, having a deeply carved asymmetrical C-shaped foliate cartouche, surmounting a beveled glass shield-shaped tilting mirror with a molded wooden frame, supported by shaped standards with incised foliate carving on a punched field, anchoring four serpentine shaped shelves, surmounting a rectangular rouge marble vanity top and backsplash, inset to a feather banded gallery, atop a conforming cabinet with two drawers over two doors all with feather banded quarter panels, above a shaped skirt centering a carved foliate cartouche, the whole rising on low cabriole legs terminating to scrolled feet, 78"h x 55.5"w x 23"d.
