2 BOHEMIAN ART NOUVEAU ART GLASS VASES
Continental, Bohemian, late 19th / early 20th century. Two iridescent glass vessels comprising one sinuous bronze mounted yellow baluster form vase and one oil slick bottle form with sterling silver overlay, yellow vase apparently unmarked and oil slick marked 'sterling silver' to foot.
Approximate dimensions: yellow vase h. 10", w. 4.25", d. 4.75"; oil slick h. 8.25", diam. 4".
Condition: Oil slick vase with no apparent chips, cracks, or repairs, oxidation to sterling overlay, glazing and firing imperfections, and scattered surface wear including small white paint dots and scuffing. Bronze mounted with 0.25" chip to corner, stable crack to one side - from rim to neck, and pleasing oxidation to bronze, minor firing imperfections, and faint surface wear.
