2 Chinese Blue and White Plates, Kangxi

Two Chinese blue and white plates dating from the Kangxi period. The first plate has an interior roundel with three cranes and several of the Eight Treasures within a geometric rim band. The exterior has four of the same Eight Treasures. The other plate features fruit and leaves on the interior, and several of the Eight Treasures on the exterior. The bottom has a 4-character mark.

Dimensions are: the larger plate measures 1 3/4 inches tall X 8 5/8 inches wide, 4.4 cm X 21.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The first plate is in overall good condition. The second plate has a large chip to the foot, two cracks to the rim, several chips to the rim, and abrasions throughout.
