2 Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Vases
Two (2) Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vases, both with polychrome decoration depicting females in an outdoor setting with young boys to one side and character inscriptions verso. Both vases with pierced handles and remnants of wax seals. Large vase unmarked; smaller vase with blue character mark to base. 17" H x 9 1/8" H. Both Early 20th century. Provenance: Collection of Thomas M. Alexander, Greeneville, TN, former U.S. Army Captain Airborne/Special Forces during the Late 1960s/Early 1970s in Vietnam. He became a Central Intelligence Agency Field Officer in Southeast Asia, beginning in the Early 1970s until his retirement in 1994.

Condition Report: Largest vase with fleabite to rim, minor wear to decoration, loss to gilt on handles. Smaller vase overall good condition with some scattered losses to decoration.
